Dr. Cara Kaul
Psychiatrist, MD, PMH-C
Dr. Kaul completed her B.S. in neuroscience at the University of Nevada, Reno. She then came to Florida to pursue her medical training. She attended the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida, graduating in 2018. Choosing to stay where the weather is warm, she completed residency training in general psychiatry at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
She is passionate about women’s reproductive mental health, and is certified in perinatal mental health. She has completed a fellowship in integrative mental health. Additionally, Dr. Kaul specializes in treatment of trauma-related disorders, depression, anxiety and OCD.
Dr. Kaul’s approach is kind, calm, and compassionate. Outside of work she enjoys spending her time with her family, baking, and being creative.
Dr. Kaul is also the medical director at Wayside House, Inc, and serves as a volunteer and board member of the Florida Chapter of Postpartum Support International.
Dr. David Beaman
Psychiatrist, MD, PMH-C
Dr. Beaman earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Louisville and his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his psychiatry residency at Florida Atlantic University, where he served as chief resident in his fourth year, and has made Florida home ever since. He holds additional certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C).
His approach blends a deep understanding of the biological basis of psychiatric care with a rich appreciation of the social and psychological factors that shape mental health. He strongly believes that the goal of treatment isn't just to reduce symptoms, but to enable patients to live fulfilling lives.
Dr. Beaman has particular expertise in depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and perinatal mental health, with broad training across adult psychiatry.
